Not only is this book educational and fun for my little boy, it is also quite entertaining for me to read aloud! My son loves the brightly colored, creative characters and illustrations. Each page teaches a letter of the alphabet along with an alliterative phrase describing a crazy creature. The phrases become memorable tongue twisters that are fun to read and listen to. Crazy Creatures an ABC Book is quickly becoming our favorite book at story time. I hope to see Crazy Creatures action figures and T-shirts in the near future!Product details

We received this book as a gift. My daughter loved the pictures and it was really fun to read aloud!
Take reviews with a grain of salt - while the book is silly, becomes too much of a tongue twister (got a little over zealous with words that start with a a letter). It’s a fun book for kids, but wouldn’t say it’s a new classic as other reviews describe.
So very creative from the colorful illustrations to the fun combo creatures, Author and illustrator Jonathan Dannevik is a 21st century Dr. Suess. We look forward to many more!
Love the illustrations! The funky & creative way Jonathan put characters together keeps kids (& adults) interested and unlike other books I've seen! It's makes for an awesome gift to children learning their letters. I've also given it as a baby shower gift unwrapped in a basket where other parents took notice to buy for themselves. Can't wait to see what Jonathan comes up with next!
Wow! A friend recommended this book for my five year old boy and the whole family enjoyed!! This is very well written with such great illustration. It has each letter in the alphabet with a bit of amusing play on words that relate to the drawing in such a fun way! You can't help to smile at some of the references. The drawings are so original! I'm a big Freddy the Flatulent Fish fan lol. And the Zebra on a Zuchinni Zamboni could have a book of his own. This is going to be the next big thing in children books, something the whole family can enjoy and grow vocabulary. Please write more!
I ordered this book for a fun read on the alphabet for my littles. It did not disappoint! The pictures are unique and silly, and the tongue twisters that go with the letters had us giggling non-stop. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to break up the monotony of the usual A,B,C books. Your little ones will love it!
